About

Born in Madrid into a Cuban composers, arrangers and musicians’ family. Finishes the degree in Fine Arts at the Complutense University Madrid and the degree in singing at  Superior Singing School of Madrid getting a Cum Laude at the Special Price of the degree “Lola Rodríguez Aragón” in 2009.

After finishing the degree receives lessons with Mr. Vincenzo Spatola.

She has made some specialization courses after the degree: Spanish Art Song and Zarzuela at the University of Santiago de Compostela, with Miss Isabel Penagos; Baroque opera with Mr. Eduardo López Banzo, conductor of the group of baroque music called “Al Ayre Español” at the University of Alcalá de Henares. “Bel Canto” and Italian opera with
Mr. Alberto Zedda, Lied, Art Song, Melodie at the Musikhochschule of Trossingen, Germany, with Anne Le Bozec (Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique Paris und Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe), Ulrich Eisenlohr (Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Mannheim), Burkhard Kehring (Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg), Peter Nelson (Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Trossingen) and Axel Bauni (Universität der Künste Berlin) Lieder von Johannes Brahms, Gustav Mahler und Lieder der 2. Wiener Schule (Schönberg, Berg, Webern), being invited to perform live concerts Lieder concerts there with great success.

Awarded at Logroño 2010 and Villa de Colmenar 2011´s Singing Contests and finalist in many others.

Soloist for Josep Pons with OCNE, Mireilla Barrera, Jose Ramón Encinar and the  “Grupo Koan” , Jordi Casas with the ORCAM, Jesik Lim and the orchestra di RTVE, Antonio Fauró, Iñigo Pirfano and Carlos Domínguez-Nieto (OAM), Kynan Johns,Jose Luis López Antón, Lavard Skou Larsen  (Orquesta Clásica Santa Cecilia), Virgil Popa,  Jesik Lim (RTVE), Alejandro Jassan, Carlos Checa…

She has recorded for Deutsche Gramophon, musicstry, Fundación Autor, and others…

She has performed complete rolls at the theatre, like Violeta (La Traviata), Norma (Norma-Bellini), Gilda (Rigoletto-Verdi), Mimi (La Boheme- Puccini), Adina (L´Elisir d´amore) Servilia (La Clemenza di tito-Mozart), Miss Pinkerton (The old maid and the thief-Menotti), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni-Mozart), Adele (Die Fledermaus-Strauss), and sung in concert pieces like the Requiem and Coronation Mass di Mozart, Beethoven´s ninth symphony , Carmina Burana di Carl Orf, etc
